1 journaler for this copy...
I kept seeing this book in the bargain bin. It was getting cheaper every time, so when it got down to $7 I gave in.
The story actually starts on the front cover and continues on the inside cover, so I'm going to have to put the label on the back.

Eggers' sentences kite about, jerking your attention here and there, ducking, swooping, sometimes stalling. Seemingly written by a dead man, this is the week that he and his last living friend went around the world giving away money.
I found it hard going reading this, and had to stop half way through for a month, just for a break. The story is told in the first person, with flashbacks and mental conversations. I found the format and style unusual, but in the end, it's just these two guys, you know?
(Apologies to HHGTTG and DNA)
