Journal Entry 1 by JessicaEby from Cambridge, Ontario Canada on Tuesday, August 14, 2018
Tonight, my husband and I discovered a new (to us) charity shop in our neighbouring city, Kitchener ON. They had some really great deals on books, so a number of books came home with me, including this one.

I bought this book because it's a well-known bit of Canadian literature, but I know nothing about it! I know the book's name and I know who wrote it, and that's all... so I thought I should read it.

Journal Entry 2 by JessicaEby at Cambridge, Ontario Canada on Monday, September 10, 2018
I have now read Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang!

This was a quick read for me as it's a fairly short children's book. I think it's not my favourite kids book of all time, but it's far from the worst one I've read. As I said in my initial entry, this is a well-known Canadian work, so I'm glad that I have read it now.

I don't have specific release plans for this book right now; there's a chance it will hang about for a while before getting on its way again.

Journal Entry 3 by JessicaEby at Waterloo County Gaol (historic gaol) in Kitchener, Ontario Canada on Wednesday, July 27, 2022

Released 1 yr ago (7/27/2022 UTC) at Waterloo County Gaol (historic gaol) in Kitchener, Ontario Canada

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I was having terrible deciding where to leave this book and my husband suggested that a historic gaol might be a good spot. He didn't realise there is one on Kitchener; since I grew up here in Waterloo Region and he didn't, I sometimes forget that there are a lot of things/places he might not be familiar with! Tonight I showed him the old gaol and we left this book there, hanging in a protective bag from the gate that goes into the garden in the old yard.

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!

This book was released as part of the 2022 Canada Release Month challenge.
