Don't be left in the dark . . .
In the hushed aftermath of a total eclipse, Laura witnesses a brutal attack.
She and her boyfriend Kit call the police, and in that moment, four lives change forever.
Fifteen years on, Laura and Kit live in fear.
And while Laura knows she was right to speak out, she also knows that you can never see the whole picture: something is always hidden . . . something she could never have guessed.
The story not only switches between Laura and Kit as narrators but also between the present day and different points and places in the past so it look me a little while to get into the story. It takes a while before you find out what the incident was in the past that defined the path to the present and then the pace picks up. There are several twists, of course, but not the sort that I was expecting. I read late into the night to find out more.
