From the back of the book:
"After the death of his wife, Peter Byerly, a young antiquarian bookseller, relocates from the States to the English countryside, where he hopes to rediscover the joys of life through his passion for collecting and restoring rare books. But when he opens an 18th C study on Shakespeare forgeries, he is shocked to see a Victorian portrait strikingly similar to his wife tumble out of its pages..."

A thoroughly enjoyable and cleverly written book.

Thank you so much, Trojanhorse, this book arrived safely and was waiting for me when checked my post box this morning. Thank you also for the thoughtful card, labels, wordsearch puzzle and adorable picture of Luna. You've been very kind. I'm looking forward to reading this book. I can't remember where I'd heard of it when I put it on my wishlist, but reading the back it sounds even more interesting than I'd remembered!
