The Hate U Give

I found this book on the free book shelf at Rheault Bay marina. I left a few others for exchange.
While written for young adults and on the longish side (464 pages) for me to tackle when I've got so much to do on my plate, I devoured this an a day and a half. It's a book about racism in the US and in its police force but it's also a great story about love and family and growing up. All the hype about this book is well-deserved.
