I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book. I'd heard such great praise about it and a friend gave me a copy. While it was insightful, I couldn't stop thinking about what a lie it all was. How she'd written this book about her marriage and love and then left her husband and decided she was gay. It made me think that I should read this as a cautionary tale. Her actions ruined her message, to me.
Sending this to Queen72 as a wishlist tag. Hope you enjoy it more than I did.

Thank you for the tag!
It's really hard to review memoirs because that is the author's life story/reflections. Knowing what I know now about the author, it's obvious from the beginning she was not being true to herself and I really felt bad for her husband. I did appreciate her raw honesty and hopefully her story can help someone else out there.
