I got this softcover from a local Goodwill thrift shop. It contains pages of information on a variety of film and literary monsters and villains, from the Mummy and Creature from the Black Lagoon to Caliban and Cerberus. Maps show each being's location, there are illustrations with annotations (the Bride of Frankenstein's white-striped hair, the Blob's distinguishing feature - it's a blob, that's its only feature! - etc.), and some plot-points from the original books, plays, or films. It includes recent monsters/villains (Hannibal Lector, Jason) as well as ancient Greek and Norse creatures. And while it omits some that I'd have liked to see, it is an entertaining and varied collection.
