Recently I read an article about lesser read Nobel literature prize winners (can't seem to find it now; if I do I will link to it here) and Patrick Modiano was one of those mentioned. Today I found this in a Ktm bookstore (Mandala Books, Kantipath) and it's coming home with me. Do I need more books? No, I don't. But I've been very good at not buying any lately... (famous last words!)
Note: Not the afore mentioned article but a good one:

Read it all the same day I got it; can't remember the last time I did that with a book.
A strange and beautiful little book.
Incredibly well written, evocative - I get why this guy won the Nobel prize.
Not for those who want everything neatly tied up in a bow at the end.
Definitely want to find more by this author.
