1946 - J. R. MacCready, a research biologist, and his assistant, Yanni Thorne, are sent to look at some mammoth bones in the Himalayas. The mammoth bones turn out to be a cover story for something much more dangerous. It seems that there is another race of humans living well-hidden and nothing is known about them. The more J. R. and Yanni find out about them, it's no wonder they are so well hidden. This makes for an excellent action thriller that's hard to put down.
