I really enjoy Mary Oliver and her writing. In some ways, I find that I prefer her poetry to her prose, but I do enjoy both. In this volume, I especially appreciated her thoughts on nature (one of her favorite subjects) and on poetry and the writing of poetry. My favorites in the collection included "Of Power and Time," "My Friend Walt Whitman," "Staying Alive," "Sand Dabs, One," "A Few Words," and "The Poet's Voice."

Hope the finder enjoys the book! I was very sad to learn of the recent passing of Mary Oliver.
