In my not-so-humble opinion, the Lord of the Ring trilogy is the best epic fantasy series ever written. It is the foundation upon which the entire genre is built. If you have never read it, you should, even if you don't like fantasy. The story is classic, the characters are rich and you will find yourself drawn along in their story. If you liked the movies, you will love the books. Though the movies do a good job of carrying the "feel" of the books, and tell the majority of the story, the books are far richer and there are plot twists that couldn't fit into a three-hour-long film.

I highly recommend this trilogy to readers of all ages. I am only releasing these copies because I have a hardcover copy that I will keep!
