This is the last book in the Uglies trilogy, in which Tally and her friends bring about some fundamental change in the Pretty societies. Well, there is a fourth book, Extras, but I feel it's more a stand alone extra than one that completes the series.

Tally joins the Special Forces so that instead of being a bubble-head, she can stay icy most of the time. The operations also makes her a superwoman, with extraordinary powers, strength and cool gadgets. She is still worried about Zane, whose brain is ravaged by the nanos that are supposed to cure him. Shay and Tally devise a plan to get him cured and become Special. Needless to say, things don't go as planned, and in fact they may very well have started a war.

I enjoyed this series a lot, and have been trying someone to pass this on, as I hate to separate the volumes after collecting them. Now finally I've found a reader interested in taking the whole set! Off it goes on a new journey. Enjoy!
