Sixth in the Rose Gardner series. When Rose's best friend's cousin goes missing, Rose is determined to help find her - but Neely Kate's family are stereotypical (and rather unbelievable) rednecks and they have connections to the underworld that Rose is trying to avoid, causing further difficulties with her Assistant DA boyfriend and her policeman ex. It's a fun series but this one is stretching things a bit too far for me.
