I had difficulty at the beginning with the behavior of the characters and the sheer number thereof. Then I decided to focus on the main theme of Rachel and Nick, and it became an easier read. By the end I quite liked the book (while still shaking my head over that lifestyle) and, like waterfalling, may well look for the sequels.
