The Unadulterated Cat
4 journalers for this copy...
Terry Pratchett took a side step away from Discworld in The Unadulterated Cat, a hilarious insight into the world of the feline. Amusingly illustrated by cartoonist Gray Jolliffe, Pratchett delivers a wonderfully funny collection of anecdotes that anyone, cat owner or not, will be hard pressed not to smile at. Not quite a replacement for a Discworld novel, but your sides will split just the same.

What a pleasure, to come home after a long day of work and studies and find a bookcrossing book waiting on your doorstep. I am really looking forward to reading this, being both a cat lover and Pratchett fan. Let's see if my cats are "real".
It was a quick and fun read, but overall I was a bit disappointed. It felt like Pratchett couldn't decide between writing a book of anecdotes about his own cat(s), or make it into something more universal. You would expect the latter, but to my taste a lot of the points and stories are a bit too close to the Pratchett home.
Yet, there were certainly some parts that were very funny and recognisable, especially about getting your cat to eat a pill. Since it is just a small book, still worth reading.

This is the first book I have as a bookcrosser...this is not something I am really into so I will just release it tomorrow...enjoy the reading!!!
