I got this handsome hardcover, signed by the author, at a local Savers thrift shop. I've enjoyed many culinary memoirs, and this one - set in Maine - has additional local interest. I've enjoyed many wonderful meals in Maine, from clam shacks and lobster huts to microbreweries and high-end restaurants, and it was interesting to read about the Maine food scene from the author's perspective. (And to spot references to places I've actually been - and to some that I now want to visit!) The book features some recipes as well.
