What a lovely surprise in my mailbox today (after an all afternoon in the dentist office)! We read about this book in a magazine several years ago and added to the wishlist on a whim. It will fun to check it out. Thanks so much!

Hubby had seen this book listed in a magazine with a short blurb and thought it looked interesting so I added it to the wishlist. It's a pretty good story but not good enough that I'd go out searching for others in the series but I'm trying to get away from series books as they start to take up all your time (just my opinion). I chose to read this book this month because it fit Plum-crazy's "what to read for January" theme of Chocolate (assortment or words meaning the same, RANGE was one of the acceptable words). This is the first book in a series, Quinn Colson is a Ranger stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. He is from Mississippi and goes home for his Uncle's funeral. Once there, he finds out the town has a lot of illegal activity going on and there are questions left in his mind about his Uncle's death. He sticks around to find out what is going on. I saw this book on another bookcrosser's wishlist, reserving it to send to her soon.
