I read the first in this series but don't remember it at all. Not a problem. This was a moving story of dealing with bereavement... I admit, some tears were shed. At times it was hard to accept the heroine's seeming bull-headedness and her conviction that not really caring would be the best recipe for her future. This being said, as she repeatedly points out, no one else is in her shoes and knows how she feels. A good read.
