"Moomins live in the forests of Finland. One day Moominpappa is feeling at a loss. He has no idea what to do with himself because it seems everything has already been done. So he takes his family off to start a new life in a lighthouse on a tiny, rocky island far out to sea. It's rather quiet and lonely at first, but as they begin to explore their unusual surroundings the Moomins discover some funny and surprising new things about themselves."

On its way to the winner of the Maritime Sweepstakes, 7th round. Congratulations and enjoy!
Thank you very much for the book, I'll be able to discover the Moomins at last! :)
I have read a little bit about them in the forum and my Finnish penpal sent me a Moomins mug BUT they are totally unknown here in France!
So it will be a nice discovery!
And thank you as well for the card and the cute little notebook (always useful)!

Journal Entry 5 by Harobed82 at Libération contrôlée, -- By post or by hand/ in person -- France on Tuesday, April 16, 2019
What a surprise! I just got back from a shirt holiday in Finland and found this book in the mailbox <3
off to the winner of the maritime sweeps!
I always try to post my controlled releases with real stamps. If you are not a collector yourself, you might want to check out this post on the forum about a stamps sweeps that I’m currently organising (sign-up still open) or this one about Bookcrossers who collect stamps. A lot of Bookcrossers collect stamps for charity, so it’s nice to find them a good home!

Found by a book loving 7 year old whilst out looking for geocaches along the empacombe footpath. First time we've heard of bookcrossing so we're excited to get involved.
