Actually purchased about 2012 or so because the used book store I got from has been closed for at least 4-5 years. Just one of those I’ve missed in registering somehow.
I enjoyed this novel - it's the first in the series so there's a lot of set-up for later novels. Charlie Madigan is a detective in Atlanta and her partner on the force is a siren (yes, that kind of siren). This is a different kind of Atlanta - the 2 other supernatural worlds, Elysia & Charbydon, open up into Atlanta and it's a kind of supernatural melting pot. These creatures include sirens, jinn, and a host of other folks with supernatural powers. Charlie & Hank are tracking down the source of a off-world narcotic but it gets personal quickly. Soon there are witches, mages, jinn, sirens, and a revenant involved in the action. The ending definitely sets up further action. This was a fun and action-packed beginning to the series and I will be looking forward to the next one.

Thank you for sharing this book. It looks interesting.
I included this book in waternixie's Wrap-It-Up bookbox. The first sentence is "You told a two-thousand-year-old oracle to prove it."
