A story of a woman about to get married, and having serious doubts about it. Not Atwood's best, to my opinion, but I remember stumbling upon it at Heathrow airport on the day I decided not to go through with a planned marriage myself. (which appeared to be a very good decision indeed).

This book was given to me by biba89 on my request.
She gave this to me on the Dutch book crossersmeeting.
After i read A Handsmaid's Tale I really want to read all of Margaret Atwoods novel. so this will be my second book by her.
Thanks for this book. I will let you know and journal again when I start reading.

Reading right now. Will update this journal while reading.
Update 3 oktober 2004
I have tried to read this book three times.
The third time I did read quite a lot, but I do not know why, I am not really interested in it.
So I have decided to set this book as available.
Thanks for sharing.

I asked this book from Marlene-TC because I didn't read this Atwood novel and I liked her other novels very much. It was handed to me at the Tilburg BC-meeting of october 24st. I put it on my TBR-mountain and I intend to read it in a few months time.
Thanks to Marlene-TC.
Thanks to Marlene-TC.
