I received an early copy of this novel via work, and really enjoyed it. An easy read, composed entirely as a correspondence between two strangers; a curator at a museum in Sweden, and a farmer's wife from England. I love love love books which are written as letters. This isn't a hugely gripping tale, but it is genuinely quite lovely in that way stories which highlight the beauty of everyday life are. It made me realising how amazing life can be, when you step back and look at the bigger picture.

A lovely, slow story told entirely through letters (my fave!) with some particularly poignant little moments and sentences. Made me stop to think more than once!

Bought this book in a charity shop in Edinburgh on holiday. I really enjoyed it! Very slow paced and I almost lost the will to carry on with it - but I'm glad I kept on.
