3 journalers for this copy...
Bought at Brisbane airport a few months ago. I’m trying to finish it in time to release it at the 2018 Convention in Bordeaux.
I finished it! While I have read and enjoyed Julian Barnes before, I found this one a bit boring. Hopefully it will find a more suitable reader.

Picked it up at the Bookcrossing Convention in Bordeaux along with Barnes' previous novel The Noise of Time.
Brilliant writing, as expected. Not exactly a topic I have much interest in but it's so wonderfully written, with all those insights and descriptions of the human mind, I enjoy pretty much anything Barnes writes about.
Finished it just in time to take it with me to the UK BC UnConvention tomorrow.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released at the UK UnConvention in Ipswich.
Hoping I’ll enjoy this recommended book!
I wasn't too interested in the subject matter, too much 'navel gazing' for me! But the writing kept me going. The story line was a bit disappointing, but wouldn't completely put me off reading this author.
