Lucy's Child
After the mysterious death of their parents, Lucy had disappeared from Beth Parker's life into a twilight world of drugs and violence. But now she was back. Lucy likes to hurt people; perhaps that's why she carries a knife. But if Beth thought having Lucy around was a nightmare, having her gone is much, much worse. A tragic accident takes her away, but leaves behind a terrifying legacy - Lucy's child.
Slugs
One female slug can lay one and a half million eggs a year - a fact that holds terrifying consequences for the people of Merton. As the town basks in the summer heat, a new breed of slug is growing and multiplying. In the waist-high grass, in the dank, dark cellars, they are acquiring new tastes, new cravings. For blood and for flesh...human flesh.
