"No other crimes have exerted such an appalled fascination as the grotesque killings of five Whitechapel prostitutes in 1888. And, until now, no one has been able to unmask the real killer.

Published as a companion to a gripping new television series, this is Mark Daniel's unforgettably convincing and atmospheric novelization of the Jack the Ripper murders. With an added twist.
Four separate endings expose four possible murderers. One of these endings was screened at the end of the television series. You may agree with the conclusion ... or you may not."

There are so many books about Jack the Ripper and I have read a lot of them. This one of the better ones, I think.

I'm passing it on to Jalna now.

Like my daughter, Saddler, I am a great fan of crime books, fiction and non-fiction, and have read several about Jack the Ripper. We both watched and enjoyed the tv program which accompanied this book, but it was a while ago, so I shall be pleased to refresh my memory of it.

Having held on to this book all this time, waiting for an opportunity to read it, I have now decided to release it unread, having realised that I am really rather bored with Jack the Ripper having read, heard and watched so much about him and his crimes.
