Objeta is a treasured daughter in an Ibo village in Nigeria. When sickness took away both her parents however, her brother decided to sell her for some quick cash. Grrhhh!! How could he?
Thankfully things did not turn out too bad for her. I sometimes find the way of thinking and action quite out of my expectation, which is what's interesting about reading international lit, it helps me understand other cultures and see things in a different way.

THis book took me much longer to read then normal. I just never got into it. I finished it so I could use it for the 666 challenge.
