I got this paperback from a local Savers thrift shop. I picked it up mainly for the title and the post-apocalyptic cover-art, but it turns out it's more of a *magical* post-apocalypse, with two childhood friends winding up on opposite sides of a battle to either preserve their new way of life or change everything back to the pre-magic world - but at what cost?
