[copy 2] Excellent book in the Commissario Brunetti series by Donna Leon, this story features his wife, Paola, to some extent, beyond the usual descriptions of his home life, where she often plays a balancing role. The plot moves along nicely and to a satisfying resolution. Interestingly, a side element is left unresolved, albeit not important to the main story - seemingly to make a further point about Italian circumstances and justice. These books are always delightful for the sense of place that the author develops. This one can be read as a stand-alone. Putting in the wild. Enjoy!
