At one moment Ove is unsympathetic, then totally lovable, and back again. But mostly, he is grumpy, but lovable if you find the right way to approach him and persist in it, like some of his neighbors do.

We read this book with our library book club. When I saw it for sale at the library used bookstore this morning, I had do get it for my friend to read.

My friend read the book and enjoyed it like I did.
