Acquired and read this recently. Have suddenly decided I quite like quick reads. It’s a good way to try new authors. And you don’t get bogged down with over compli stories. Perfect for commuting.

Not sure if I enjoyed this one or not. When Chloe and her daughter Freya are rescued by the amazing and mysterious Tom, she can’t believe her luck or stop thinking about him. She managed to track his workplace down, to leave a thank you gift, but gets a shocking warning to stay away from him, curtesy of his receptionist. She tries not to listen but the poison sets in (compounded by her best friend’s worried input). Things accelerate rapidly on all fronts from there. Is she is grave danger or not?! The author keeps us guessing until pretty much the end. Which didn’t surprise me as I could see the route there.
