Well, at $2 I couldn't resist. For sure, this was written for someone about 12 - 16, but I was hoping I'd get some interesting info about Canadian bands that were big (and some still are) around 2000 - 2005, i.e. Sum 41, The Trews, Arcade Fire, Metric, Billy Talent, etc. I was a bit disappointed that Sloan wasn't there, but the author did have to whittle things down from 30 bands to 15. Bought at an adorable 2nd hand bookshop in Sydney, NS today. I could have stayed there all day (2 cats!) but Donfiction and I had to catch a plane.
