After watching The Towering Inferno, which was partly based on this novel (and partly based on The Glass Inferno, by Thomas Scortia and Frank Robinson), I requested this book from Book Mooch. And then after I received it, I realized I already had a copy of the book. So this copy is now off to eastbaybookmisr to fulfill a wish.

Caught this in the mail today as a surprise Wishlist RABCK! Thank you!

1974 Warner paperback of the 1973 thriller. This copy is a tie-in to the 1974 all-star Irwin Allen disaster thriller, The Towering Inferno. My great-uncle is the second to last name in the cast credits, as the helicopter pilot. This was on my list of best past thrillers to read.

I can let this go after I read:
1958 The Bright Road to Fear [n/a]
1971 Murder in the Walls [read 2013]

Edit January 26, 2021: This was pretty good, but I just skimmed it to end for time. I currently have this ranked at #862 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
