I got this softcover from the charity-sale shelves at a local Hannaford's. I'd read the first volume of this series some time back, and am interested to see where it went.
This volume wraps up a couple of storylines, and I think it stands on its own fairly well, though there might be added depth if you've read the previous volumes. There are two main stories here, one of a soldier newly returned from Afghanistan and suffering serious PTSD - plus visions of an ancient Greek soldier, and the other focusing on Eddie's hunt for Medea in an attempt to stop her rampage. While the powerful beings from Greek myth are definitely present and involved, it's the all-too-human deeds that make up the majority of the horror here.

I'm adding this to the Otherworldly bookbox, which will be on its way to its next stop soon. Enjoy!

This did stand alone pretty well. I enjoyed both the stories in this book as well as the artwork. I liked the fact that this pulled in names and figures from Greek mythology andplaced them in a modern day setting. This is not necessarily something I might have picked up on my own so thanks for adding it to the otherworldly book box.
