The Girl on the Train

5 March 19 - ok so I know this book has been around for a while and I’ve heard the hype - which to be honest always puts me off a bit, but decided it was about time I picked it up to see what the fuss is about. It’s fast paced with plenty of twists and turns, however on the negative side, the characters are unlikable, and although they story is told from three women’s perspectives, they all sound the same. I did guess who it was, although I was over half way through when it clicked, so overall not a bad read.

Thank you for the extra! I haven't read this book though I have been told it's quite good.

Thanks for these great letters, motherof11. It is great to get mail when you are more or less alone at an unknown place. It made my day!

May 2020: B. has read it and is ambiguous. Thought that the male figures are only stereotypes. But also thought it was entertaining.
