It was a realistic read so I figured out the story by the time I was halfway through. I felt the sex scenes distracted from the story.

This romantic mystery kept me engrossed throughout the whole book and I'm really enjoying this series. Texas Ranger Mitchel Hayden and a medical examiner, Faith McIntyre find themselves trying to solve a horrific murder that keeps branching out. I agree with booklady331, the sex scenes were a distraction and I just skipped them. This book reads fine as a stand alone.
