I bought this book at a thrift store to release for the One Word Title Release Challenge 2020. I decided to read it first and I am so glad that I did.
This book captivated me. This thriller was written pre 9/11 and therefore, I found it even scarier. This is the first book by this author that I have read. Elizabeth Stride wants to start her life over in a quiet town. Her former partner and lover, Martin Kessler shows up. From there they unwittingly find themselves in the middle of a terror attack, kidnapping, and greed driven crime.
I am going to send to a BC friend - dvg- as a surprise RABCK. I think she might enjoy this book.

Two retired assassins get together again in a well written plot, lots of action. A really good read! Thank you, Booklady331, for sharing this with me. =)
