WOW! This beautifully written and researched history of Louis Armstrong and his magical trumpet is hard to put down. You don't have to be a fan of Traditional Jazz to love this memoir that provides the reader with laughs and tears while tracing the successes and hardships of one famous and talented
black man in the 20th century. The story is a true and exciting tale that speaks to the heart with honesty about the poverty, discrimination and successes of one amazing and lovable man.

Picked this up at our latest Bookcrossing Meetup to bring home to my jazz-loving hubby. He has already started reading it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Hubby read it and really liked it. Interesting twist on a biography. The author listened to all of the tape recordings that Louis Armstrong made for himself, telling his stories. Really good read. Thanks!
Bringing to our Bookcrossing Meetup today. Enjoy!
