I rescued this book a while ago from our church's book sale. I think someone understood the word "magic" in the wrong way there... They didn't understand that this is about the marvelous way our eyes and brain work.

Each image contains a hidden third dimension that becomes visible to the naked eye using simple viewing techniques explained at the front of the book.

Although I can see a third dimension in some pictures, I don't have the patience to figure it out for all. The effect is not that impressive to me, but I think some people like this effect a lot.

Now I'm sending it to bethieb for her birthday. Maybe she can leave it in a LFL and it will find a reader/viewer who will really enjoy it.

I dropped this off in the LFL before a meeting of the Literacy Council. It's a gorgeous day - feels like Spring!
