Yesterday I bought this book at a charity shop, for purposes of BookCrossing wild release. Reading a synopsis on the book's back cover, I hope the book's plot isn't *too* close to reality, so that it scares readers too much.
The National Security Agency encounters a code it can't break. A "brilliant, beautiful mathematician" is brought in, and finds that the NSA is being held hostage. The cryptographer is caught in an accelerating vortex of secrecy and lies. She finds not only herself in danger, but also the man she loves, while she's fighting to save her country.
That doesn't sound too close to the headlines -- or does it??

On an upholstered bench or settee on the main floor, in an alcove between the bar/lobby and "The Pub".
The book had a yellow sticky note on its front cover. The purpose of the sticky note was to let the book's finder know, in several languages, that this is a FREE book, traveling the world.

At the show's intermission, I checked and the noticed that the book was gone. This could mean -- I hope! -- that the book went home with someone, *or* that the book got placed in lost-and-found.
