This biography is somewhat watered down; perhaps that's necessary for very young readers. It does present a coherent timeline of Dr. King's life, and to some extent addresses his motivations, and some of the obstacles he faced.
The book is rich with black-and-white photographs, illustrating many of the milestones in Dr. King's life.
