No doubt about it this is a compelling read.
With the setting of tumultuous events ranging from pre to post partition India, Badami skilfully catapults the reader across various timelines via the heartfelt stories of a number of masterfully constructed characters.
Worth reading.

Rescued from the Doncare Op Shop in Templestowe, it only managed to travel a few metres from the cafe to the op shop. Shall release it again shortly, will be interested to see if it manages to travel a little further...
