Thank for sending this book and I especially loved your card and the book plate, made me smile!
Maybe I am just bored with these kinds of books. Overall...just meh. I'm burned out on James Patterson or the serial killer genre or both. Looking at the book beyond that, I feel like maybe J.P. was bored writing it. He keeps reaching for the adjectives to describe this Mr. Smith, this serial killer who is so beyond anything anyone has ever seen before, that he calls him "alien", as though human history is not filled with blood, gore and atrocities. Not only that, it has two serial killers in it; Gary Soneji and Mr. Smith, so it felt very cobbled together. Not worth the time and attention I gave it.
