I found this one at my favourite used-book store in Cologne. This morning, it told me it would like to see a bit more of the world, so I'll release it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Nice stories. Published 1999. "Jaycee" seems to refer to AIDS. "Viper" reminds me of "Total Recall". I liked the title story best. And I liked the book recommendations. I agree whith what had been said about Patricia McKillip. The mentioned books by Paul Cook I'll add to my wish list.
