The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year
3 journalers for this copy...
Somewhat funny and somewhat negative, still, I finished it. However, it's not Adrian Mole.

I heared a lot of comments, both good and bad about this book. I really hesitated buying it, but now I found it at the meeting :-)
Took it home with me and look forward to reading it myself and see what the noise was all about.

Journal Entry 4 by Boekentrol at Leeuwarden, Fryslân (Friesland) Netherlands on Saturday, April 14, 2018
Taking this book with me 'for the road'. There will be LOTS of books at the convention, but I need something to read as well before I get there, won't I?
When I read the comments for this on other sites, I expected a book that I would like very much.
But as a matter of fact I did not like it too much. I finished it, but it was quite strange. Not only that a woman decides to stay in bed, but all the rest around it. I tend more to the 'somewhat negative' that Hendrickje describes. It made me smile from time to time, but it left me eith an uneasy feeling. And the end was rather abrupt and open.
Anyway: this book is ready to travel on to a new reader.
