Told in the third person, the chapters alternate between the main character Grace's history, and the present day. Kellerman achieves this quite seamlessly and the story is well paced.
Well worth reading.

A large component of the story turned out to be the backstory of the protagonist Grace Blades seemingly to fill the pages. The early years were OK but went on far too long bogging the story line down, the remnant wasn't too bad.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
On to the shelves.
The QSR shelves were overflowing when I delivered a few books, so had to take some. I have enjoyed some of Jonathan Kellerman books but the reviews on this are not so good. This copy may just rest a while before continuing its journey.
