A very important and brilliant book but not for the faint hearted. It's quite a challenging read and takes time to get into.
this is going to Briskel in Queensland, Australia. Please note - not correct cover picture.
It's arrived safe and sound - thanks, Arrietty! :)
(And thank you for the postcard too!)

I really enjoyed this - the last 50 pages or so were especially riveting. Yossarian is a brilliant character.

Wow. I don't really know what else to write. I found this book heavy-going, but not in a bad way - if that makes sense. For the first two thirds of the book I found myself chuckling away at the ridiculousness of "Catch-22", but it all turned sinister rather quickly. Almost all the characters had an appealing side, but also an ugly and detestable side that made me hate them. I love that realism in the author's writing.
