‘Full of quirky characters, friendship and humour, you will devour this engaging and heartwarming novel in one sitting’ – Sunday Express’ S Magazine
‘My new favourite author’ – Holly Martin
Becca Fletcher has always hated Christmas but she has her reasons for being Little Miss Grinch. Now, though, she can’t avoid her version of ho-ho-hell – because she’s travelling to the Comfort Food Cafe to spend the festive season with her sister Laura and her family. She’s expecting mulled wine, 24-hour Christmas movie marathons and all kinds of very merry torture.
Little does Becca know that the Comfort Food Cafe is like no other place on earth. Perched on a snow-covered hill, it’s a place full of friendship where broken hearts can heal, new love can blossom and where Becca’s Christmas miracle really could happen – if only she can let it…
Inviting readers new and old to pull up a cosy armchair, Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe is the novella-length follow-up to the 2016 best-seller Summer at the Comfort Food Cafe.

Thank you for this lovely christmas read and chocolate!
I felt I should read this book now, since it is Christmas time. The book is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone book.
It was an enjoyable Christmas read about the visitors and owners of a little café by the coast, where everything seems to evolve around providing comfort and healing hearts. Becca goes there to visit her sister for the holidays. She is soon encapsulated by the love and warmth of this quirky little town and its residents. There’s a nice predictable love story that follows the classic chicklit pattern (boy meets girl, girl is not looking for a relationship but eventually falls in love, there’s a bit of a fight, *spoiler* happy ending). It’s an entertaining read and only 200 pages so I finished it quite quickly, also because I wanted to finish before leaving on holidays (I wanted to take a fresh book).
I will probably reserve this book as a very late HGG gift for someone who has this on her wishlist.

I always try to post my controlled releases with real stamps. If you are not a collector yourself, you might want to check out this post on the forum about a stamps sweeps that I’m currently organising or this one about Bookcrossers who collect stamps. A lot of Bookcrossers collect stamps for charity, so it’s nice to find them a good home!

Really enjoyed reading this book.
Getting to know the characters and willing Becca to let Sam into her life and glad that she started letting her past behind by telling the people she got to know.
