Joe Pickett's daughter Sheridan receives a text from a girl who says she's April. Joe is suspicious. April was murdered six years ago. The calls are coming from locations where environmental crimes have occurred. Could this really be April or are they the victims of a cruel hoax? He needs to get to the bottom of this. He takes a personal leave to investigate what is going on. A very good read!

Another good Pickett story. Sheridan is receiving calls from someone who says she's April. Joe is suspicious as April was murdered six years ago, or so they thought. Joe takes a personal leave to get to the truth. Is April still alive? Or is this a hoax? A good read.
