The True Story of Superman

In celebration of the sesquicentennial, I have dedicated my 2017 bookcrossing activity to the reading and sharing of Canadian stories. This book was written by American author Louise Simonson, but the Superman character, story, and universe were co-created by Canadian Joe Shuster-- I have even read that the original name of The Daily Planet was "The Daily Star" after the Toronto Daily Star (Joe Shuster was a paperboy for The Star as a child), and that the cityscape of Metropolis is actually modelled after our very own Toronto! Because Superman (and by extension so much of the DC world as we know it!) wouldn't exist without Joe Shuster, I have decided to include a Superman storybook in my Canada 150 project.
If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!
This book was released as part of the 2018 "52 Towns in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge. This was my first release of 2018, so Burlington was Town #1 for me this year!
