The book was a lengthy novel, of sorts, by racking in around 750 pages in total. I thought the book was decent, but not the most thrilling story in the world. It seems like the story was more about learning the history and lives of the individual characters more than it was about the connection they have with each other. It is an ensemble story and I was thinking by the time all the characters actually meet up with each other at the end I was rather disappointed by how lame the book wraps all their individual stories together. Also, by the time that I reach ed the end of the book I ended up hating most of the main characters anyways, which is pretty lame. The author could have done so much better with the material. Hopefully, someone else will enjoy the book more than I enjoyed reading it.
